Riverwalk Academy Recognizes November 2025 Staff Members of the Month
Each month, Riverwalk Academy proudly celebrates staff members who go above and beyond in their dedication to students and the school community. For November, the school is pleased to recognize three exceptional individuals who embody Riverwalk’s values of excellence, support, and commitment.
Elementary School: Mrs. Pires
Nominated by a colleague, Mrs. Pires was recognized for her unwavering dedication and creativity in helping students thrive.
“I nominate Mrs. Pires for Teacher of the Month because she always goes above and beyond for her students. She constantly looks for new and creative ways to help them learn and succeed. Her dedication in the classroom makes a real difference with her students.”
Her passion for teaching and her innovative approach to learning inspire both her students and her peers every day.
Middle School: Ms. Mullins
Ms. Mullins was nominated by a student who shared heartfelt appreciation for her kindness, humor, and ability to make learning clear and enjoyable.
“She can help understand things better than some people and she is very nice and caring for everyone and she likes to be friendly and funny.”
Ms. Mullins’ welcoming personality and thoughtful teaching create a classroom environment where students feel supported, valued, and confident to learn.
High School: Ms. McBrearty
Nominated by a student, Ms. McBrearty is celebrated for her engaging teaching style and the positive relationships she builds with her students.
“She has genuinely made me excited to go to math for the first time in my life. She engages with the class and forms positive relationships with the students that impact the learning environment in an overwhelmingly positive way. :)”
Her enthusiasm for mathematics and her dedication to connecting with students make her classroom a place where learning is both meaningful and enjoyable.
