At Riverwalk Academy, our educators and staff are the heartbeat of our campus, driving the academic success and emotional growth of every student. As we enter the final stretch of the school year this May, we are thrilled to spotlight three individuals who have gone above and beyond to support our community during this busy and exciting season.
Elementary School: Ms. Bailey
Nominated by a colleague, Ms. Bailey is recognized for her versatility and her willingness to step in wherever she is needed to ensure our students and staff are supported.
"Mrs. Bailey works with so many of our students. She truly does whatever is needed around the building. She is a wonderful asset to the Riverwalk Staff and we are so lucky to have her!"
Middle School: Ms. Vernier
Nominated by a colleague, Ms. Vernier is celebrated for her infectious positivity and for being a cornerstone of the Middle and High School team.
"Heather Vernier embodies what it is like to be 'part of the pride.' She shows up every single day with the best attitude and a smile on her face. Having her in the Middle/High building is an amazing addition to the team and she makes sure that no matter what, everyone has a great day. We love our Front Office Mom!"
High School: Mr. Johnston
Nominated by a colleague, Mr. Johnston is recognized for his tireless work ethic and his "behind-the-scenes" dedication to the success of our school.
"Monty goes above and beyond on a daily basis. He is always there to help no matter the situation. He does so much for the school that goes unnoticed and always avoids the spotlight."
